** This piece is discounted because there is a small crack on the lip, to the left of the moon. I noticed this before the glaze firing and so gave extra glaze around the lip in hopes of giving strength to this weak point. I have been using a mug that has a similar crack for over a year now - the crack has not changed at all/gotten worse, and it is still one of my go to pieces. But this of course is a potential weak point, so should it get smacked against a hard surface it may be more likely to break than it would have otherwise. Just be extra careful with this piece! **
