A combination of wheel thrown and hand pinched mug, made with a creamy, speckled clay body. Hand painted and carved moth, lily of the valley frame, and leafy background.
Inside is glazed with a food safe, clear glaze.
Outside is also clear glazed, except for main design, which is left matte for contrast.
Any matte/unglazed areas are treated with Liquid Quartz, which which is a food safe sealant designed specifically for ceramic that keeps the outside water tight and stain resistant.
