Handmade, wheel-thrown and altered porcelain pitcher with painted and sgraffito moths, botanicals, and moons.
This piece was created at a workshop I took from the very talented potter Jen Allen. I made two, and have been holding on to them for years because there hold such a special place in my heart. But the time has come for me to let go of one of them in order to free up space in my home. It is going to be difficult for me to say goodbye to this one, but hopefully it will find a loving home with you!
Inside is glazed with a food safe clear glaze.
Outside is also glazed with a subtle blue/green celadon glaze, except for the moths and moons, which are left matte.
Capacity (oz): 20
Height (inches): 5
Width (inches): 6
Inside diameter of rim (inches): 3.75
*This piece is discounted due the underglaze "crawling"/lifting off in spots. The underglaze is the black and white paint-like material I used to paint these designs. You can see in the photos how it looks as though it has chipped away in spots. This does not affect the function or safety of the piece, but is an aesthetic flaw.*
