Wheel-thrown and altered incense holder/burner with sculpted and hand painted moth, and painted moon, flowers and stars.
Inside has glossy white glaze around the base of the bottom piece where the cone will sit, and around the hole in the top of the piece where the smoke will escape, making it easier for cleaning.
Outside is unglazed, giving it a matte, stone-like feel.
How to use: Simply light your incense cone, set it on the base, and cover with the top piece. Smoke will filter through the top hole. There are small holes around the edges that allow for a oxygen inside the holder, which helps keep the incense burning and allows the smoke to escape through the top, rather than just accumulating inside.
Incense cones not included.
*** This piece is discounted because the two pieces warped enough to where they are not flush against eachother, and sort of bow out or in rather than having a clean, round profile. This does not affect the function of it as incense is burning, but doesn't have as tight of a fit and is just less aesthetically appealing in my opinion. See photos. ***
