**This piece is discounted due to the fact that the black underglaze got thick in spots, which led to slight "bubbling" up in those areas, which you can feel when you run your hand over the piece. If you are sensitive to texture, this is worth considering! There are also areas, like in the design of the hand, where the underglaze faded. The handle also has a pretty noticeable crack on the underside of where the top of the handle attaches to the body of the piece. It is still safe to use and hold, but should be given extra care to avoid smacking the handle against a hard surface like a sink or something as it is now less likely to withstand a hard impact.
