#21 - Stretching Swan & Tulips Cup

I purchased this swan cup from Deanna on a whim, and it's become one of the most used ceramics in my growing collection. On the day of the drop, my ellipses upon the strawberry rabbit mug, I was intentional as a viper; I would strike fast at that one. However, my destiny had other plans because shortly before the pieces were released, a powerful storm brought through a power outtage that made shopping impossible for a few hours. When the clouds had cleared, only a few items remained, and my rabbit had been lost to another happy home. I kept returning to the shop studying each piece's details closely in hopes my heart would blaze with the magic of another. My studies paid off; I did in fact take a liking to the swan with the fiery heart, initially thinking it wouldn't be for me since I felt for sure I was solely a mug guy. I couldn't have been more wrong about myself! It seems so thoughtfully constructed, a one of a kind cup that will never be replicated; it's so special, and for now, it is mine. I keep wanting to reach for it whether it's coffee, water, matcha, or even ice cream. It's my companion after a long work day when all I want to do is collapse on my sofa for a couple of hours with my book and whatever is in my swan cup. I keep looking for reasons to use it because all I want to do it is hold it again. I'm very much looking forward to future drops, but forgive me if I have doubts any piece will ever bring me as much joy as this one has. 😊
